As part of the annual activities slated for the Bishop Kojo Aruna Nelson celebration which is in remembrance of the founder of the Association, The Accra Diocesan Council of the Anglican Young people Association by way of edification and work from its four pillars, TILED the Medical Centre and by Divine grace, handed over the completed project to the Anglican Medical Centre
The Lord Bishop of Accra, Right Rev’d. Dr Daniel S. M. Torto on Wednesday unveiled and handed over the completed tiling project of the Accra Diocesan Council of the Anglican Young people’s Association to the Anglican Medical Centre at Pokuase, as part of activities marking this year’s Bishop Kojo Aruna Nelson celebrations. This was also to form part of the Association’s social responsibility to the community and the Church.
Speaking to the Diocesan Vice PRESIDENT, Nadech Ackum-Mensah of the Association, she revealed
the association embarked on the tiling project since that appeared as the topmost challenge of the Centre and assured that the association was working on solving other challenges in the coming years.
The assemblyman for the Area Hon. Gard Yeboah Tackie expressed gratitude to the Church and association.
Emmanuel Duray a Physician Assistant at the medical centre also thanked the association for their kind gesture and called on other benevolent persons to help the medical centre grow to meet it demand for delivering health services to the community.
The Anglican medical centre facility was established in the year 2015.
to take care of the health and well-being of the people in and around the Pokusai community.
